A native of Western North Carolina, Austin began his career in custom home construction at a young age gaining an appreciation of building from his grandfather and father. His career began more than 20 years ago mastering the foundational aspects of commercial and industrial construction while building in the Asheville area.
In 2000, Austin relocated to Charlotte, NC, and joined a residential framing crew to expand upon his home building expertise. In the fall of 2005 Austin obtained his NC General Contractor’s License and launched his custom home building enterprise in the mountains that he calls home.
In 2010 Austin joined MB Haynes Corporation where he gained commercial building management experience. While there, he served as site superintendent, project manager, and fulfilled a critical role in starting a new division for the company. While the experience in commercial construction and project management proved valuable, the strong desire to help others build the custom home of their dreams called Austin back to a focus on residential construction.
In his spare time, Austin enjoys spending time with family and friends, hunting, boating, water sports, and all things outdoors. He lives in the Fairview community with his wife and daughter.
